| It's a shame that I wasn't more into photography when I went here to visit as part of my Pacific backpacking tour because it is probably one of the most photogenic places you can imagine. Absolutely, without doubt go visit. Leave Auckland as soon as you can and spend as long as you can touring the countryside. The South Island is particularly beautiful and wild.
