| It's an old cliché, which also happens to benefit from the fact that it's also the truth: the native Fijians are some of the friendliest people in the world. Fiji also happens to be a lush, green tropical paradise with a quality of scuba diving that is a class of its own. In fact, I got my diving certification on Taveuni, the third largest island of the group which just happens to straddle the 180 degree meridian. I even have pictures to prove it.
