Covering a large area these monuments start with the Isis Temple complex in the north, just upriver of Aswan to the Great Temple of Ramses II in the south at Abu Simbel.

They are all impressive, all the more so since many of them were physically move to save them from the rising waters of Lake Nasser when it was filled behind the High Aswan Dam.%0D
