| The birthplace of Artemis and Apollo, Delos lies just off of Mykonos, and is a short sail away. (It also happens to be the spot of a near-death experience for me when our sailboat got skewered by the bowsprit of another sailboat, piercing the spot where I had been seconds before). There's actually not a whole lot to see in the spot, though it was a place of immense importance in antiquity, as a place of pilgramage. One should note that in deference to the gods, no one was allowed to be born or to die on the island. I guess the former is mostly preventable -- the latter?%0D
