| Rio is, well, Rio. Set at the foot of tree-covered hills rising more or less straight out of the blue ocean, the city is a study in contradictions. Everyday you will ask yourself what will it be today? The shocking combination of prudishness and in-your-face sexuality, or the clash between the obvious wealth of some and the bone-crushing poverty of others that will leave you breathless. In between the extremes you will find a city high on life, a celebration of skin, Speedos and sun and a nightlife that will have you squeezing your clothes dry at 10am the following morning.
