Works of Antoni Gaudí Spain, 2005

To say that Gaudí had an interesting perspective would be an understatement, to say the least. Certainly his use of nature as the inspiration for his architectural vision leads to an organic, sometimes even disturbing feel to his works.

By far the largest and the most impressive of his works is the still unfinished Sagrada Familia Cathedral in Barcelona. Not unfinished in the still-putting-the-finishing-touches type, but in the whole-sides-of-the-building-are-missing type. The interior spaces have to be experienced and the decoration is some of the most strange and fascinating that you'll see on any building, anywhere, far less a cathedral.
