The Palau de la Música Catalana and the Hospital de Sant Pau, Barcelona Spain, 2005

The phrase "over the top" was invented to describe this building. Constructed in the early 19th century at the hight of the modernista movement that Gaudí made so famous, a private amateur, nationalist choral group, the Orfeó Català, raised funds and built this high fashion monument to music.

Unfortunately, they don't allow photographs within the building but hopefully the pictures of the outside may give you some idea of what the internal spaces look like click here.
